    After 7.5 wonderful years, I'm moving on from @newslaundry. It's been the longest stint in my 17 years as a journalist and I leave with very fond memories. After some downtime, I'm looking for new opportunities. I have experience in editorial (reporting, editing, research, scripting, podcasts/video, newsletters) and non-editorial (subscriptions, revenue, partnerships, events).     When did reading become this fetishised nonsense? I belong to a couple of reading groups on Facebook, and the majority act as if anyone who doesn't read much is inferior, or deprived. Some ppl do other things, or don't faint from the glorious smell of a new book. Big deal.
