    As an immigration lawyer, the number of Americans you consult with who are supportive of this but also incredulous that there’s no solution for *their* spouse/gardner/housekeeper/nanny/caretaker/ranch hand, who is just THE BEST, is astounding.

    My jaw is on the floor. This doesn’t feel like a political rally. It reads as something far more sinister when you have thousands of people chanting “SEND THEM BACK” and proudly waving their “MASS DEPORTATION NOW” signs in the air.

    Brian Bukle, 62 y/o black man, jailed by ICE for over a month despite repeated explanations he's a US citizen. -Arresting contractors taunted him. -ICE officers ignored his pleas, falsified I-213, put him in deport proceedings. -GEO therapist urged him to just sign deport papers.
