Set parties aside for a moment: You’ve got two candidates for governor. One is positive, constantly out in public, engaging with all manner of voters all across Arkansas, and open about their plans; the other is very rarely seen and always negative and divisive. Who do you pick?
Folks of every shoe size walking a mile for all Arkansans. 👟

Y’all are gonna make me have to learn something about @AndrewYang, aren’t you?

Arkansas has 473,861 K-12 students. At about $5 each, breakfast and lunch for every last one of them would come to about $2.37 million a day, or a little under $422 million for the 178-day academic year. Our legislature just cut state revenue by $500 million.
Tonight I went to my son’s open house. The cafeteria went over lunch/breakfast costs. For 1 child to eat breakfast & lunch daily= $140/mo. I saw the look of panic in many parents eyes who didn’t realize the free lunch program had ended. Universal free meals @ school must happen.

So, facing a dire cancer diagnosis, @SenJohnMcCain will return to the Senate Tuesday...to vote to take health care away from millions?

KATV (@KATVNews) covered the controversy over plans for a 3,000-bed prison in Franklin County. Residents there are organizing to push back. They've formed an organization, hired an attorney, and are engaging public officials. #ARpx

Every Democratic lawmaker’s a part of this legislation—both our bill to provide better pay for teachers and our bill to provide better pay for classified staff. We’re in this together. #arleg
Arkansas Democrats filed legislation to give a $10,000 raise to teachers and increase the minimum teacher salary from $36,000 to $50,000 a year. #arpx arkansasadvocate.com/2023/01/26/dem…

This would maybe be funny if it weren’t so spot-on.

We’re at 449 known cases of Covid-19 here in Arkansas. Six Arkansans are known to have died due to the disease. That’s a case lethality rate of 1.3 percent. Our Secretary of Health is on record having said that 27 to 45 percent of Arkansans could ultimately be infected. (1/2)

“It is up to Arkansas to stop the Donald Trump show. The next generation of conservatives cannot allow Donald Trump to take everything we stand for and throw it away.” –Governor Asa Hutchinson, February 2016
.@AsaHutchinson, the great Governor of Arkansas, is in a primary tomorrow. He has done an incredible job with a focus on lower taxes, border security, and crime prevention. Asa loves our military and our veterans. I fully endorse Asa for Governor!

Regardless of how you feel about the Arkansas Abortion Amendment, you should care about how state officials are handling it. Whatever the rules for the process, officials should apply them fairly and consistently to every effort. This piece is worth your time.
SCANDAL IN ARKANSAS: State officials conspire to break law, make up rules on fly, violate 100k Arkansans' right to petition, & engage in blatant viewpoint discrimination--desperate plot to keep abortion issue off ballot this November by any means necessary arktimes.com/arkansas-blog/…

Nearly 60 percent of Arkansans support legalizing marijuana (which is why so many Republicans are trying to keep it off the ballot), and of the majority who want to change our state’s ban on abortion, *92 percent* support making safe access *easier*. #arpx
