Hiring an AI Operator (Founder’s Office) at @GeneralAutonomy Not a PM. Not a BA. Not a PPT role. You will: - Take messy user requirements - Turn them into specs / responses using AI - Help decide what we build vs ignore Looking for: - High agency - Fast execution (hours, not

(1/8) You can't hire your way to win in robotics. Let me repeat that: YOU CANNOT HIRE YOUR WAY TO WIN IN ROBOTICS! 🧵👇

The only true privilege Ankush, Bhanu and I had was the fact that we found each other, as cofounders and friends, and we were surrounded by really amazing people at IIT. It is rare. On other comments, two of us had loans to pay, the third had no family earnings. (1/2)
Ankush and Farid iterated on 15 ideas right from college days and probably in <2 years time until they built Sharechat. If you call that privilege, then you can undermine each and everyone by using the logic of privilege

$5B Indian social media app ShareChat is going BUST. - At ~$42m revenue, it's valued at 120x rev - ~95m DAU in rural India - Founders cashed out $10m in secondaries - Burn $366m/yr and have ~1–2yrs of runway Ads don't work in the 90% of India that's poor (yet)! 1/4

The word “vernacular” has its origin in the Latin word “verna” which means home-born slave I request with both hands folded that the Indian startup ecosystem, the govt, the media and everybody else stop calling Indic startups or local language startups, as vernacular startups! 🙏🏼

We don’t hear a single lab at any of the #IITs attempting the replication of ambient super conductors in India. Being a Material Scientist I am ashamed that none of our profs and scientists are even trying. 30+colleges with material science faculty, ~500 labs & “0” experiments!
The fact that like a dozen Chinese labs have been able to attempt replication of the ambient superconductor in less time than a single US lab should be a freaking wake-up call about institutional hurdles to progress in the US.

It will happen right in front of everyone's eyes. Nobody will observe it. Nobody will appreciate it. But, when the dream completes, India would have happened. India aa raha hai... Hum aa rahe hain! Jai Hind 🙏

The true point to understand is that we did 15 ideas in <2 yrs, that is roughly 1 idea every 45 days. Moving fast, iterating scrappily and getting consumer feedback quick should be key takeaway. We were on borrowed oxygen. Had it become 3 years, there was no dice roll left (2/2)

Original thinking and original product always defeats any copycats big time, whether incumbent or fellow startup. Great going @HarshPokharna1 @gauravkunwar and Godspeed @_okcredit Lucky to be a small part of your journey.

I am very grateful to so many unsung heroes who have played their role in helping us get here. And ofcourse, one of our greatest supporter, mentor, hero and friend has been @pratshukla whose debt I don’t think we will ever be able to repay in this lifetime.

Now since the article talks about @sharechatapp origin, I would like to thank @pratshukla for making that call and introducing to @frdahsan @AnkushSach @bhanuism to @IndiaQuotient . It has been a privilege to be small part of your journey.
