- Whatever you do in life, consider this. This speaks to me, it humbles me and it inspires me. I bet the housekeeper doesn't know the impact this has but so many people commented today. #respect
- Replying to @ffollietSo, I have found the two ladies responsible, Denise and Lynne. They are proud of their work and lots of colleagues have been encouraging them. They were amazed to hear about this tweet but I have shared how their work, inspired me and others and that this is what makes a team!

- I'm the Consultant on call today. I gathered the whole team together and reiterated that we work as a team, that mine is the ultimate responsibility, that if they have concerns they escalate and NO-ONE gets thrown under the bus. #oneforallAllforoneThePatient

- And all of that is why, 12 years ago, I resigned as a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon. I had NO job, NO idea what would happen or where I would go but I knew that all that was better than staying. I was broken. @SheffChildrens repaired the broken bowl #kinsugi
- Nine years ago today I was one day away from unemployment. I had resigned from a dept and hospital that was completely toxic, after years of terrible behaviour. I was in a bad place. And then I was offered this wonderful job I'm in now. Remember, YOU are worth it.
- Just discovered that a medical conference that I was invited to speak at some six months ago will not be paying for travel or necessary overnight accommodation. This conference has now just discovered that it is short of a speaker. Education is not a charity.
- When you see a 4 year old that you did complex neonatal surgery on. And chase him round the clinic room in a tickle fight. (And win) and then get offered a cuddle. And then discharge him. #paedSurgeryRocks
