    Perinatal mental health. To all health care professionals. If you see a pregnant woman who is on antidepressant/anti anxiety/antipsychotic medication, DO NOT STOP IT “because they are pregnant”. Consult your local perinatal MH team or a primary care expert.

    Sending a letter by second class post and saying that you will discharge the patient if you don't hear from them within 7 days is just cutting waiting lists by stealth. It's not ok and it makes my blood boil

    What is this shitty not-flu, not-covid, not-RSV thing going around?? It has taken out my team at work one by one and both kids poorly now. I had it two weeks ago. Felt bloody awful. Making people get tracheitis, febrile, sore throat. Any virologists know? Paraflu?

    This is the pretty big hole in my abdomen from where this little lady emerged. Why....why....do women get discharged with paracetamol and ibuprofen? This is not enough for abdominal surgery. I hear it over and over again and every single time it enrages me.

    I have done gynaecology and women's health as a GP for 23 years, and I have never seen toxic shock syndrome from a tampon. I have fished out A LOT of retained tampons. Medically possible obv, but I was made to be terrified of it by leaflets as a teen. Other experiences?
