[1/5]Isaias Afwerki plans for integrating Eritrea to Ethiopia date from the 30-year war In 1977-80, a series of meetings were organised by Soviet Union & East Germany to mediate between Mengistu and leaders of EPLF & ELF. On 23 Mar 1978, Isaias agreed to give up Eri freedom:

Polish blocking and threatening to shoot at Black STUDENTS that managed to reach the border after HOURS of travel in freezing cold !! #AfricansinUkraine
Watch how they are threatening to shoot us! We are currently at the Ukraine -Poland border. Their Police and Army refused to let Africans cross they only allow Ukrainian. Some have slept here for 2 days under this scorching cold weather, while many have gone back to Lviv.

Isaias Afwerki strength comes from dividing people, instilling fear and mistrust between them, so they don’t unite to defeat him

Ethiopia is the only colonizer that has not dismantled its African colonies.

His song “Papaoutai” (Daddy, where are you) is one that’s the most painful to listen to. Stromae’s father was amongst the Tutsi killed, as he was visiting family back home, during the #Rwandagenocide He was 9 years old at the time.

Eritrea is not a *standard* dictatorship. It’s in a place where we look around at other dictators as « not as bad » as DIA. We flee to other dictator-led countries.

Watching #EscapingEritrea reinforces the fact that Eritrea’s strength comes from our people/families back home. Eritrea’s weakness lies within the Eritrean diaspora: the ones who support the regime and the ones who remain silent, while enjoying freely their access to human rights

How do I swap my hgdef *cousins* in Europe for my oppressed cousins back home? I want those hgdef *cousins* to sacrifice for their leader

A year after the struggle ended, summer 1992, we went back home. I’ll never forget how I felt, the joy my parents had hugging family. Mum hugging her dad she left when she was 16-17 to join the struggle Hagerey Eritrea 💙💚😔 we miss you #EritreaIndependenceDay #FreeEritrea

Mind you, when #EscapingEritrea came out, I’ve observed Tegaru, after watching it:reacting, sharing it and showing empathy.None of the hgdef, fake “Eritrean” did that. No empathy, no love for our people in Eritrea. Imagine your neighbour loving you, while your family hates you 💔

In fact -if I’m being direct- it is while Eritrean troops are killing and raping Tigrayan women and girls, that Tegaru still stand in solidarity with the innocent Eritreans living under a repressive regime. Know your enemy, it’s DIA. It’s NOT TEGARU!
