This hits differently after finding out the producers wanted to portray a black family with no father. But ofcourse it was a determined black woman who made sure a black father WAS represented. Sigh

Palestinians who make the space and find the capacity to be vocal about the other injustices around the world (ie Sudan, Congo, Tigray, Uyghurs) at this very moment are just, idk my God they are cut from a different cloth. Because compassion fatigue would be more than valid here.
