Dear customers!
The public beta for Bambu Studio 1.7.0 is now live on GitHub! We added more third-party printer support and also implemented several long-awaited features.

Orca Slicer has now surpassed 1 million downloads! When I started this project two years ago, I never expected it would become so popular one day. It still feels unreal🤯

1.9.0 is the most downloaded version so far, with around 178k downloads.🤯
This is definitely a bummer. I was negotiating for an authorization key to allow OrcaSlicer to communicate with their device like BambuStudio does, but today I was told they won't support this. Only their slicer can send prints directly; others must use their Bambu Connect
#OrcaSlicer 1.9.0: Ever been frustrated by those pesky 'seams' in your spiral vase prints, like the ones shown in the photos? Well, you can now bid farewell to that annoyance with OrcaSlicer 1.9.0. A hero from our community, 'andrewboktor', stepped in and fixed it!😎
People who are reading BambuLab's updated release notes for the first time are now questioning me. I have no intention of bashing any manufacturer.
I am simply a 3D printing enthusiast and have no plans or intentions to do business in this area.
So why am I frustrated?
What an incredible achievement! Orca Slicer has been honored with the @3dprintindustry Software of the Year award. A huge thank you to all the contributors and supporters—this project wouldn't be what it is today without you! #3DPIAwards
It’s hard to explain if you’re not an open-source contributor. They take my code (hundreds of commits), remove all my author info, and mention my name in a release note that, after a few weeks, no one will read.
Inspired by JimCorner, OrcaSlicer’s YOLO flow rate calibration method appears more straightforward in determining the optimal flow rate. You can test it out early at: github.com/SoftFever/Orca…
