For anyone still on the fence about going to 🦋, i personally have seen really amazing growth so far! Everyone is much nicer. Not as many bots or rage bait. There areeee a certain level of 2012 tumblr, “No, you don’t get why this is funny” posts but mostly it’s been nice! 🩷

Artists, I don’t know how to tell you this, but we absolutely cannot just…refuse refunds “as per your TOS.” You can have guidelines, you can have stipulations. But you cannot simply REFUSE someone their money after months of no communication and no work. That’s theft.

As an artist, it’s absolutely insane to me that other artists think they can just…keep a clients money…for free…because they wrong “I said so” on their website. It’s a fundamental misunderstanding of how freelance works.
