Run, if possible, faster than your normal pace. Your sense of urgency will decline with time. And then you start to settle, pinning it on the outcome of fate. You are unlikely to be an outlier, so exert all energy since you have it in abundance. If you feel it now, do it.

My mum’s whatsapp status. She goes about posting 10, 20 pictures and there is hardly anyone that is clear. The pictures often appear as though someone keeps shaking her hand while taking the pictures. Yet, she posts them. I love how she is not aware that the pictures are not
What is the simplest thing that brings you disproportionate joy?

Remembered meeting a lady who still works at Dangote inside the elevator during my NYSC. She was holding a Benz key. I was wearing a fine suit. Then I thought of playing around. Without any hi or hello, I asked “you drive a C300?” She responded grudgingly “Yes, why do you ask?”

I said the key looks like my car key but just wanted to confirm. She said “okay, what Benz do you drive?” I said “leggidis benz”. She burst into laughter and called me werey. Lmao Saw her yesterday again and she was just laughing.😂 It’s been over 2 years.

As undergraduates with no business acumen, my friends and I joined competitions not only for prestige, but for survival. The prize money, many times, was our lifeline. Almost a decade ago, we were invited by UNILAG to participate in the Taiwo Afolabi Maritime Blueprint Debate.
Tell us a crazy but true story.

Interviewed a young lady for NYSC Associate. Not exactly solid on legal principles which is normal but she is just a happy individual. Laughed from the beginning of the interview till the end as if the outcome isn’t her problem. Emi ti recommend omo olomo o.😂

Some people, in reacting to this video, innocently said: “you just haven’t met 9-to-5 guys with insane money.” But that very response shows how deeply degenerated our society has become. A job done within the ambit of the law; one that gives people a means of livelihood,
    J u s t i c e for 9/5 guys 😭

At the very least, Osupa qualifies to be a visiting lecturer in any Nigerian University, Faculty of Arts, teaching Yoruba and Culture. He is a proper scholar by any metric you can think of.

In August 2023, I got a higher paying job but you discouraged me from taking it because you believed I deserved more. For me to know how much you believed in me,you offered to be paying me the difference until I get an irresistible offer. I eventually did. You are my family, bro.

When Shank said, “we start our lives so late in Nigeria”, I completely understood him. It’s because he’s seen another world; one that makes you realize how much more you could’ve achieved earlier if you’d simply had an enabling environment. That’s what exposure does: it changes

Until age 29, you have never travelled out of naija. At 31, you have travelled to more than 29 countries due to work. If you are seeking to succeed through education, keep at it. Don’t relent. Give it your best shot. It is still one of the easiest ways to break through.

During juris. exam, this guy was trading BTC on his phone. The lecturer was approaching but he didn’t stop trading. When the lecturer got to him, he showed the lecturer his phone saying he needed to close a trade worth millions of naira. Apparently he wasn’t cheating.

Except you own and manage a law firm in NIGERIA, please don’t listen to her. If you own a law firm, you can even decide to tattoo your forehead and meet clients like that. At the very least, you will get to advise Portable.
I don’t agree. I am a successful woman by any standard & in any country. In Nigeria I go to any meetings with my triple facial piercings, tattoos, leg chain (why is anyone looking at anyone’s ankle)? And I work in an industry that is one of the most conservative in Nigeria. Law
