My dear, wonderful, amazing dad passed away from Covid last night.
I'd like to thank everyone for your kind words and support.

- Iโve grown up with the GN here in Liverpool all my life Martin. Sorry, I canโt agree, changes for safety had to be made. Itโs still a great race and if all horses and jockeys get back safe, then that matters, a lot.
- Absolutely heartbroken, we have had to let our beautful old lady go. We just couldn't bear to see her suffering any longer and there was no more that could be done. Thank you for the lovely memories and your unconditional love Esme, we love you. Xxxxxx ๐๐พ๐๐พ
- Today after receiving a phone call from the hospital, I got to spend some precious time with my dad. He's on a covid ward and very, very poorly. To those who don't take this virus seriously...I wish you could witness what I have seen and heard today. It's heartbreaking.
- I thought long and hard about posting this tweet. I want to share the last chapter of my wonderful dad's journey. To say a huge thank you to my friends, the amazing staff @AintreeRaces and also to @SulekhaVarma and @nickluck My dad would be very happy to see this. โค

- I was very distressed when I called you a few years back to check on a neighbour's dog. Out all day, no food, water or shelter. Excrement everywhere. You left it like that.

- My dad was taken into hospital last night and just 5 days after testing negative is very poorly with the new strain of Covid and a chest infection. We're not allowed to go in, we just have to sit and wait for updates. Not enough words to describe what we are going through.
