Stumbled upon this quaint little bookstore in Hanoi. It has a great collection of new and used English books. 💛

As a Palestinian in Malaysia I can say that the Malaysian public is not “under-informed” about the Palestinian issue, and it’s not a “complex” issue. Being anti-Zionist & supporting Palestinians in their struggle for freedom is the only acceptable & right stance.

I recently had this conversation with my friend who mentioned that the first time she said inshallah in front of me and my Arab friends, she was both happy and surprised by our reaction. She’s never dared to utter any words that includes “Allah” in front of Malaysian Muslims.

There’s no way they centered themselves in a PALESTINIAN rally & asked Palestinians to shut up and listen to them talk.
    Replying to @amerhadiazmi
The provocation, according to him: “I think they (a group of Palestinian attendees) were not interested in listening to the talks, they kept interrupting (speeches). A Palestinian activist is apparently willing to risk deporting Palestinians over this.

Only Zionist apologists will say that a whole population is “under-informed” when the majority have taken a strong stance against occupation and colonisation. Saying this during a genocide is particularly very ugly.

Jason, there are a bunch of middle eastern/Arab restaurants in Malaysia that serve way better and more authentic food. I think what you crave is cultural appropriation and stolen Palestinian food, which is fortunately unavailable in Malaysia.
Last night I had amazing Israeli food at a restaurant called Miznon in Singapore. I told the manager it was absolutely delicious and that it was my first time because there are no Israeli restaraunts in Malaysia.

This Singaporean man claims that occupied Jerusalem is “safe” & advises people to visit (yes amidst an ongoing genocide). This is beyond appalling. There's nothing ethical or justifiable about visiting an occupied land, let alone during a genocide.

I love how unapologetic he was. Bravely calling out anyone trying to tone down the Palestinian narrative or maintain a vague, both-sided stance. He was truly a force.

The ICRC, along with other international organizations are complicit in the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Remember this ⬇️ when they talk about human rights & protecting civilians.

Communication is hard there’s no line in Mentakab but she’s updating from time to time. These are from her story today. Hopefully the victims get the help they need and the situation gets better :(. #DaruratBanjir #banjirpahang

So apparently Indians are enraged over @chedetofficial’s statements regarding #Kashmir and that’s why they want to #BoycottMalaysia 😂
