Very excited to announce that we’re hiring for an AI-focused software engineering roles (both general SWE and ML-infra) at Blue Rose! This is a great chance to work with giant novel datasets and cutting edge ML/AI to help defeat Trump in 2026!

Explicit antisemitic attitudes are now much more common among young voters - 18 year old registered voters are now ~5x more likely to say that they have an unfavorable view of the Jewish people than 65 year olds.

I think an underrated part of it is basically that millenials had boomer parents while Gen Z had Gen X parents. I did a survey once asking people how their parents voted when they were growing up and there was a pretty big generational gap in parental partisanship.

The loan shark prevention act, introduced by @AOC, caps credit card interest rates at 15% and was the second most popular policy we polled last year out (Prescription drug negotiation was #1) out of 113 policies tested!

Capping credit card interest rates is a super-popular @BernieSanders /@AOC idea that they should talk about more and more members in swing seats should embrace. Downside is some reduced access to consumer credit, but I that’s probably not actually bad. sanders.senate.gov/press-releases…

For the record the negative impact of gerrymandering is ~20X larger than the theoretical upper bound of a massively well funded field program

It would have surprised us all ten years ago that Republicans have empirically become the party of pimps and felons and people on welfare, while Democrats have become the party of [non-tech] CEOs and people in well-to-do suburbs and military generals and people who read the
Breaking news: The Trump administration has pressured Romanian authorities to lift travel restrictions on the self-described misogynist influencer Andrew Tate, a champion of the US president who is facing criminal charges in Bucharest. on.ft.com/3X4ucNW

Israeli voters over the age of 60 are more than twice as likely to support the establishment of a Palestinian state than Israeli voters under the age of 30.

It doesn’t get clearer than this - congress should act and begin the process to enfranchise Puerto Rico’s 2.5 million voters.
USA (Puerto Rico), status referendum final results: Statehood: 58.6% Free Association: 29.6% Independence: 11.8% In the original reporting of the results, the percentages for Independence and Free Association were erroneously swapped by the voting machine company. #PuertoRico

Zoomers care more about making money than any generation in at least 50 years
Gen Z is the most money-centric generation we've seen yet.

Pretty wild that quadrupling GDP per capita over your term only gets you a three seat pick-up
Guyana: President Mohamed Irfaan Ali (PPP/C, centre-left) has been sworn in for a second and final term after his party won 36/65 parliamentary seats in the September 1st general elections. Opposition parties APNU (left|centre-left) and WIN (*) are seeking recounts. #Guyana

Post-MLK-assasination race riots reduced Democratic vote share in surrounding counties by 2%, which was enough to tip the 1968 election to Nixon. Non-violent protests *increase* Dem vote, mainly by encouraging warm elite discourse and media coverage. omarwasow.com/Protests_on_Vo….

Really great to see @RoKhanna stand up for tracking - removing advanced classes from schools is literally the single most unpopular policy we've ever polled
It is absurd that Palo Alto School district just voted to remove honors biology for all students & already removed honors English. They call it de-laning. I call it an assault on excellence. I took many honors classes at Council Rock High in PA.

You joke but this is a real measurement issue in psychometrics - when you ask people in long term relationships to access their personality they tend to access themselves relative to their partner, which makes spouses seem more different than they are!

Super important thread - the popular narrative after 2012 that Obama won due to historic mobilization of young and non-white voters was completely wrong and the resulting consequences of that narrative have led to massive strategic errors that have put American democracy at risk
    Replying to @Nate_Cohn
As the piece in the original tweet shows, huge swaths of the interpretation summarized in this thread were wrong--even completely wrong. The data it was based on was wrong, as well. Obama's decisive strength was among white, working class northerners.
