10 years ago, a cardiac surgeon saved my life. Today, I matched into my dream program at @CCF_CTSRes to become a cardiac surgeon myself. While it still feels unreal, all I can think about are the numerous mentors that showed me love and kindness. I can’t wait to pay it forward.

Appreciating recent life events as residency arrives. One moment I’ll cherish is the honor of receiving the Tom Nesbitt award from Dr. Nesbitt & @nashvillemed at graduation. I can only hope to emulate the qualities describing his father in this award. Now, excited to get to work!
