    My psychologist friend: Have you noticed how many people seem to have brain damage lately? Like, literal cognitive decline and behavioral or personality changes? Am noticing it everywhere, even in my longtime patients.

    I asked my friend, a smart, experienced psychologist, why so many are susceptible to being gaslighted, refusing to see what’s in front of them. She said: “Ppl wanna believe they’re safe & that their leaders wouldn’t harm them, it’s not reality-based. It’s Stockholm syndrome.”

    I remember late Feb/ early March 2020 hearing an interview w epidemiologist where he was asked when the pandemic will end. He said something like, “not for several years, maybe 2024/ 2025.” Took my breath away. I prayed he was wrong. Now I realize he was being gentle.

    The reason I am not embarrassed to be the only one in an N95 is because I understand the wreckage of Covid and feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t.

    I woke up to a number of disturbing messages from HCW friends. One MD lost a “healthy” pediatric patient (7 yrs old) to an unknown stomach virus. Said the ER staff is “traumatized.” Wrote: “The news is not covering any of what we’re witnessing— @CDCDirector has failed us.”

    So I woke up with something that's literally Black Hairy Tongue. People, including my doctor, seem to think it's no big deal, and will go away soon, but it certainly is gross.

    One thing HIV, COVID, & Lyme have in common? Latency. A period when you (generally) recover from flu-like initial illness & feel ok. Weeks, to months, to years later is when problems often begin. Ppl don’t seem to be aware of this & it’s THE MOST IMPORTANT THING to know.
