    Spine surgeons see problems from many different angles. That is why it’s prudent to get more than one opinion. But be wary of surgeons who use high pressure tactics to get you to sign up for surgery when no other methods have been tried. #trustyoursurgeon

    Many doctors are in that same boat. Its not the income alone, its the debt to income ratio. Its the amount of debt serviced.

    Make college and medical school affordable then get back to me. Otherwise go to sleep and delete this garbage tweet in the morning. Most of us in the healthcare profession still service a ton of loan debt. If we didn’t have it, we could buy home and qualify for mortgages, maybe

    So I hope everyone paying attention is seeing the forest. Cutting medicare reimbursements for doctors. Check. Capping nursing salaries check. Preventing insurance companies from posting BILLIONS of dollars in profit PER QUARTER. No check. What's going wrong here? @CMSGov ?

    To bring you up to speed today #MedTwitter, hospitals and ASCs get a 3% raise, we get a 3% cut and @UHC committed 8.7B dollars worth of Medicare fraud in 2021 alone. But yes tell us how it’s all the doctors fault. #notaprovider @DOJCrimDiv @DrCorriel @pppforpatients

    In memoriam: my young colleague #IreneSay, a petite, bookish, and hilariously funny person who I only met once but left a huge impression on me. She gave me hope for the next generation of #neurosurgery. She was young, too young, and had in incredible future ahead of her.

    When adjusted for inflation, Medicare physician payments have dropped by 22% from 2001 to 2021. So why are you cutting it more? How much money have you saved? You’re digging in the wrong place. @SecBecerra @HHSGov @CMSGov
