- Maybe we should stop listening to people who "have been fighting for Affordable Housing in San Francisco for 40 years." Seems they've fucked up!
- And just like that, San Francisco loses local control!
- Ya know I never really understood why “hey we should build enough housing for everyone” is controversial.
- Another day, another 500 units of housing in San Francisco rejected by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Thank you @MattHaneySF, @SupStefani and @Ahsha_Safai for supporting building housing on a surface lot next to transit.
- A YIMBY is someone who thinks we should build more housing and is okay with new housing next to their current home. That’s it.
- The State of California thinks San Francisco is anti-housing.
- It’s outrageous that politicians ban new housing and then criminalize homelessness.

- “The UCLA study shows supply and demand doesn’t work.” The line on the slide says a 20% increase in the number of homes decreases prices by 10%. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Replying to @_fruchtoseNow mentioning a study from UCLA that is "proof in the pudding" that upzoning doesn't work.
- To be clear, the Bay Area stopped building the housing needed starting in the 1970s. We intentionally created a housing shortage. In order to fix this problem, building more market rate housing is necessary.
- Wow the nativism from some of the R̶e̶p̶u̶b̶l̶i̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶P̶a̶r̶t̶y̶ San Francisco "Progressive" base is alarming.
- Replying to @wholleraZoning still matters. But if a housing project follows all of SF’s rules, it’s automatically approved.
