CWS team getting after it at practice and in the weight room during the most important tournament of the season. If you’re telling kids not to lift during summer ball, you’re not giving them exposure, you’re exposing them.

My wife’s youngest brother Alex suffered a massive brain aneurysm yesterday. He passed this afternoon with my wife, myself, and his children by his side. Alex was 40 years old. Please pray for my wife, pictured here with her brother, and their family. 🙏🙏

This is my late HS baseball coach. He played football 4 Bear Bryant at Texas A&M. He won a batting title in the minor leagues. He was tough on me & my teammates, but we knew he loved us. We didn’t understand until later in life the lessons he taught us. He’s why I became a coach

I want to tip my cap to a kid. I don’t know his name, but he plays for Dallas Tigers-Ahearne. Bottom 7th, down 8-0, he hits a ground ball to the SS. He absolutely busted his ass down the line, stopping near the bullpen. He was out, but that’s all I need to see. #Effort #compete

I don’t coach for the income, I coach for the outcome…and I don’t necessarily mean wins and losses in games. My biggest wins and losses are the outcomes of the kids I coach 5, 10, 20, years down the road. #AAIT #PackMentality
