- Shin-Soo Choo has made s pair of donations. He has pledged $200,000 to the Community Chest of Korea for aid to COVID-19 relief in Daegu, South Korea. He is also giving $1000 each to approximately 190 Texas Rangers Minor League Players this month.
- Joey Gallo goes 4-0 in opening night of MLB The Show Players League on Friday, defeating Trevor May, Lance McCullers, Jr. , Blake Snell, and Amir Garrett.
- The Rangers are very happy to announce that Hall of Fame broadcaster Eric Nadel returns to the air on the club’s radio network TONIGHT when Texas hosts Miami at 7:05 pm. He has missed the entire 2023 season while addressing mental health issues. Welcome back, Eric!
- The Rangers will welcome two-time AL MVP Juan Gonzalez to Globe Life Field on Friday night. He will receive his Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame jacket (class of 2015) and throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Rangers-Mariners game. Welcome back, Juan!

- Adrian Beltre has selected the Texas Rangers logo to wear on his cap for his plaque at the National Baseball Hall of Fame. He will join Nolan Ryan (class of 1999) and Ivan Rodriguez (class of 2017) as Rangers wearing the Rangers T in Cooperstown.
