    This past week was my 3 year anniversary of being the Head Football Coach at Mayville State. I was 28 years old when we took over a rebuilding NAIA program. We only had 32 kids on roster the first day on campus. Here is a thread of the 10 things I have learned in 3 years. 🧵

    Sad news to report tonight, as legendary Somerset football coach Bruce Larson died today at the age of 58. Larson guided the Spartans to three state titles & three runner-up finishes and was named the Don Shula NFL National High School Coach of the Year in 2015. #wisfb

    The last five weeks have been tough, but the one thing that keeps me going is my love for our guys. Not a day goes by that I don't miss dad. The messages and support from everyone the past 37 days has been unbelievable. This is my favorite picture of me and Dad from the past year

    Somerset community remembers longtime football coach after unexpected death
    Coach Bruce Larson died Sunday at the age of 58. Larson had been head coach since 1999 and took the team to several state tournament appearances.
