    My proposal to High Schools. Mandatory week off during each summer month for all out-of-season sports (& Strength/conditioning). Kids, coaches, parents, families would have 1 week each month that NOTHING could be scheduled within the school district. I believe ALL would benefit!

    A lot of discussion about not having teams shake hands after games cause of recent violence. If you want to get rid of handshakes you are addressing the wrong issue in my opinion! Need handshakes now more than ever! Promote respect, perspective & emotional control! @CornellRams

    My advice to my kids: be a great person, be a great friend, work your tail off, have some convictions in life & be the best you that you can be. Know that you'll have many challenges in your life & when you do, attack them, don't run from them - they only mean you are human!

    It's no wonder you continue to see coaches step away from the game they love because, aside from the time commitment, it requires so much emotional & mental energy! AND to give this & still fight battles with parents, playing time, roles, etc can be really tough on one's soul!

    Whats the difference between your 12th grade daughter and 3rd grade daughter when learning school cancelled? 12th grader shouts for joy while 3rd grader responds disappointingly "awwww... but I already brushed my teeth!" #StayLittlePlease
