    Spartans advance to the state championship game w/ a 2-1 W, vs. West Mifflin. Mathiesen, was lights out with complete game, 10K’s. Janeda & M. Tarquinio with the runs scored. Sike w/ RBI. Spartans 1st appearance ever in State Championship game. #seeyouinstatecollege

    These messages aren’t easy to write, but Spartans lose a heartbreaker in the WPIAL championship in 12 innings. Gutsy play by the team led by Sike’s performance on the mound. The guys are hurting - & that passion is why we love this group. Time to refocus & prepare for states.

    While we are disappointed we came up short of the goals we set. We are humbled by the outpouring of support. We have a great group of young men who bought in. Thank you to the fans, administration & boosters. The foundation is built & the bar is set. It’s been an amazing ride.

    Incredibly proud of this group of seniors. They have accomplished so much as a Spartan. All 10 will attend college, 8 of 10 will play a varsity sport. Amazing 3 year run on the diamond. 58-17 record, 3 section championships, 2 WPIAL runner ups & 1 State title w/ 2023, TBD!!
