- This is the Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at @MassGenBrigham. What does this say about how MGB admin values & respects residents? Are we expendable? Do they think we’re a chore they have to put up with? Do they truly care about our well-being? …this is why we’re unionizing🙃

- Residents are on STRIKE— because of @mountsinainyc’s continued refusal to support this community. No more second class treatment. @mountsinainyc, end this strike with the fair contract we and our patients deserve. #NYCDocsStrike #QueensStrikeReady
- The push to see residents as students and not employees is so that they can more easily be denied labor rights & protections to be exploited, devaluing our labor of keeping patient care running so that we accept less than we deserve. Again, why residents absolutely need unions.I viewed my residency years as a unique opportunity and privilege to be exposed to the maximum possible number of surgeries and clinical exposures and read about them at home while someone else was ultimately responsible for my actions. I never thought of myself as an employee.
- We're giving our official notice today that we are planning to engage in an unfair labor practice strike in @CountyofLA. But we are still hopeful that we can avert this possibility and we urge the County to do the right thing. #Care4USLA Full statement: bit.ly/3arf5Zg
