Terry Hall, a man of few words verbally but so many great words in song. I always admired and envied his sweep of the pen. Take care on the steps above young man.
Of all the people to interview me over the years Johnny Walker was the one I remember the most for being so tender and understanding about not just the old workhorse ‘Cool for Cats’ but songs that have built up my solo career. His gentle voice relaxed me, God rest you sir.
One of the very first tours we did was supporting Dr Feelgood around the UK, today I saw that Wilco Johnson has passed away. His Telecaster playing and movement on stage inspired me, I loved the way he strutted around making the songs fly like darts to a musical dart board.
This is the announcement we never wanted to make, & we do so with a very heavy heart: Wilko Johnson has died. He passed away at home on Monday 21st November. Thank you for respecting the family's privacy at this very sad time. RIP Wilko Johnson.

26 years sober today. It gets tougher everyday as the heart lives in the clouds while trying hard to keep my feet on the ground. Today a Poetry Festival in Ledbury, that should help! @… instagram.com/p/Bkzs4pgnzZs/…
Much indignation over the fact that the BBC's Glasto coverage didn't include Squeeze. What's done is done, so all I'd say is take that energy and re-route it into giving their most recent album The Knowledge a listen. I think it's up there with their best. open.spotify.com/album/3MvTrwXX…
