This post cracked me up 😂 but let me just explain why this happens. What you’re seeing here is something called egocentrism in children. At that stage, kids haven’t learned to fully see things from another person’s point of view. Everything still runs from their own lens. So

Children are not adults and cannot process stuff like adults. A lot of these advice implies you treat them like adults which they aren't. Children need to understand that "no" means "no", not the watered-down version you propose that breeds entitlement and indiscipline.
