Tenant pleaded that he can only afford 1.5m. against my advice, Landlord refused to accept. In his words, this is Lagos, someone will pay 2m. Landlord called recently that he wants to evict the new tenant who paid 2m, for owing 2yrs rent.

- I have appeared in Sharia Courts a couple of times and yes, Non Muslims are sometimes charged with criminal offences there even when they did not "consent in writing" to be tried in such Courts. I therefore believe that the concerns of Non Muslims in this regard are valid.
