Clayton Kershaw will always be a Dodger great, but it’s things like this that make him a lot less likable. Just wear the hat. Be a tolerant Christian and accept that there are others who believe differently than you.
Every time I’ve gone to church for whatever reason (friends’ kids baptism, wedding, friends trying to convert me, grandparents made me, etc.) I didn’t show up with a shirt reminding everybody that I don’t believe what they believe. I was tolerant of their beliefs. Not this.
You are a fucking monster. You would send somebody who has lived 2/3 of their life in this country, not by their own choice, to an entirely different country that they don’t know anymore? Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Burn in Hell.
A Pride hat doesn’t represent my beliefs. Wearing it represents solidarity with a community that has been historically marginalized, discriminated against, oppressed, and dehumanized.
The hubris of refusing to accept others who have been hurt by your religion is unfathomable.
So I should tolerate Christians when they refuse to tolerate others? Kershaw was intolerant. That’s something wrong.
Nobody is stopping Kershaw from representing his faith. He always has.
The issue is that he did it on a Pride hat. That’s intolerance.
Biblical meaning of a rainbow. According to that verse a rainbow is the Judeo-Christian God’s reminder that he flooded the earth (drowning everybody on the planet except Noah and his family) and that he won’t do it again.
Christians don’t like that LGBTQ+ people use it.
