FWIW, one of Ty Dillon's best-ever runs in a Cup car came at Dover in 2017, when he was in contention for a race win with Germain and probably should have finished 4th if not for spinning when hitting speedy dry on the final restart. Him going to Indy is a real possibility. - Not content enough with kicking Legge while she's down, you also take *another* completely unprovoked shot at Castroneves. Ryan Blaney weighed in on the Playoff format discussion this morning on @SiriusXMNASCAR. He said that he prefers the original Chase format. He also took issue with those who say the current championships are "Mickey Mouse" titles while pointing out the season-long format hasn't - Mark Martin never won it. But Derrike Cope has. Tony Stewart never won it. But Michael Waltrip has. Martin Truex Jr. has never won it. But Trevor Bayne has. Brad Keselowski has never won it. But Michael McDowell has. Kyle Busch has never won it. But Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has.
