- Let’s not start listing all the things that students haven’t done this year. Instead, give them tremendous credit for what they have done—been good citizens who have dutifully worn their masks and made school possible, as well as one of the safest places in the community.

- 78% of @BethlehemAreaSD Grade 2 students were “green or blue” on the middle-of-year reading benchmark—the highest level ever recorded by our second graders. These students are the cohort targeted for 90% on the end-of-year Grade 3 reading assessment in May 2021. #BASDRBG3

- The need to plan and deliver simultaneously both a virtual and hard copy curriculum while schools are closed is a huge lift—as is meeting students’ nutritional needs in a large, diverse district. But we will do it!! 💪🏼 Look for specific plans and information starting on Monday.

00:00 - Summer assignments as given in previous years will not be assigned to @LibertyHigh and Freedom HS students this summer. Certainly, reading and skills practice are encouraged, but there will be no mandatory, graded summer assignments in 2018. @BethlehemAreaSD
