    There is soooo much more to the science of reading than phonics and phonemic awareness. We won’t help your school apply a “phonics patch” to a core program that isn’t aligned with the research. As @SfinnFinn says, “that makes scrambled eggs.” Transformation is where we’re at.

    The science of reading is a body of empirical research derived from multiple disciplines (cognitive psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, etc.). The findings from thousands of research studies reveal how the brain reads, and why it has difficulty doing so sometimes.

    ARKANSAS LEADS THE WAY in stating outright that any program based in 3 Cueing will be disqualified from K-2 curriculum approval. More states to follow?
