    Garfield M. Langhorn Jr. was a hometown hero who gave his life for his country. He was killed in action in Vietnam on Jan. 15, 1969 when he threw himself on a live grenade to save the lives of wounded comrades. He was posthumously awarded a Medal of Honor.

    I got a call from oncologist 45 minutes ago letting me know that the PET scan showed no additional areas of cancer. I’m so relieved I can’t even express it!!!!

    In my dad’s last days of in home hospice care he’d ask “Who are all these people in here? I don’t recognize them.” The hospice volunteer said that they were angels waiting to take him to be with our mom who’d gone first to get everything ready for him.

    Good evening, all. I came home from skin cancer procedure yesterday in a bit of a daze. Surgeon asked if I had an oncologist. Aggressive tumor. I’m going to see an oncologist tomorrow and my head is spinning. I’ll keep you posted. ☮️🙏🏼💙☕️
