My grandpop died last night age 102. His parents emigrated to New Jersey from Abruzzo, Italy -he was one of 8 kids. Learned English at 5, left school at 12. Met my Nan working in a tile factory, served in WWII, always grew his own basil. Earned his High School diploma at age 50💔
- Today is my birthday and I'm currently wafting around the flat in a silk kaftan listening to Kraftwerk and just about to pop open a bottle of champagne. Being 50 feels pretty darn fabulous so far! 🍾✌️

- I'm finding today really difficult. In the past week, My Uncle Jerry died, my Uncle Ben died, my Uncle Jack has been admitted to ICU, my Aunt Pat is ill and my 102 yr old grandfather has had to go into assisted living. This is all because of COVID. Please, follow the rules.

- Hey @10DowningStreet - there’s nothing magic about 10pm. The virus doesn't care what time it is. What we need is a fully functioning testing system and a fully functioning contact tracing system.
