    Across the UK, our licensed venues, pubs, restaurants, bars and clubs are now at severe risk of permanent closure due to COVID-19 I have written to the leader of every London council asking them to suspend collection of annual licence fees and late night levy fees for 12 months

    Nightclubs, closed for 15 months, have planned for months to reopen next week. Hospitality businesses are struggling while operating at reduced capacity. Without support, many of London's night time businesses may not survive this four week extension to restrictions.
