- Trump's executive order tonight has illegally cancelled union contracts for 67% of the federal workforce & 75% of unionized federal employees — roughly 700,000 union workers This may be the single biggest attack on the labor movement in American history
- There hasn't actually been a major shift of young people to the right — this election mostly reflects a turnout collapse of young Democratic voters When you account for turnout, Trump in '24 barely got a higher % of youth than when he lost last time

- Insanely amazing news Whole Foods went completely scorched earth — full on intimidation, firing a worker leader, depriving the whole store of a raise, etc — and still the workers voted for a union anyways Working-class heroesfirst Whole Foods Union 👍
- A friendly reminder: US factory jobs only became synonymous with middle-class prosperity because of mass unionization Trump's mirage of a re-industrialized America covers up this central fact
