Leaving Genève after five years for Sudan. Even when moving towards a hopeful future, doubts and fears remain. Imagine fleeing war or facing the unknown. I feel for every father and mother in the 10.7 mil displaced in Sudan. Forced displacement must end. #Sudan #displacement

We welcome the decision by Sudanese authorities to reopen the #Adre border crossing between #Sudan & Chad.This will enable life-saving assistance to reach millions lacking access to vital humanitarian aid. IOM teams are already on the ground,preparing to get aid out immediately.

It's heartbreaking to witness the suffering of families in #Sudan. Displaced by violence, they now face the horrors of the rainy season. Over 17,000 have been affected by heavy rains & floods amid ongoing conflict. We're responding, but much more urgent global support is needed.
