From 1 April 2026, parking on the Whittington Hospital site will change. Patient and visitor parking on site will no longer be available, except for blue badge holders and specific groups, including parents of children staying overnight and some frequent outpatient attenders.
From 1 April 2026, parking on the Whittington Hospital site will change.

Patient and visitor parking on site will no longer be available, except for blue badge holders and specific national exemption groups, including parents of children staying overnight and some frequent outpatient attenders.

Drop off and pick up will still be available for up to 20 minutes.

We are making this change because we are losing around 40 percent of our parking spaces due to redevelopment on land next to the hospital. We are not able to replace these spaces locally.

We understand this will be disappointing for some people. Full details about who can still park and how to arrange this are available on our website.

This photograph features our staff and was taken in March 2020, before the law prevented social gatherings so no rules are being broken here. Our staff worked tirelessly during the pandemic and followed all guidance. To suggest otherwise is misleading & does not represent reality

That would divert our funds away from delivering front line care, but we do hope that @sophielouisecc can take steps to prevent or correct any false impression that has been created.

Earlier today we were visited by HRH The Duchess of Cornwall as part of a visit to mark #InternationalNursesDay. She met and thanked some of our nurses, met some of our young patients and planted an NHS and Roald Dahl Roses in our garden.

Today marks the NHS's 72nd birthday. To celebrate 72 of our staff including some who are shielding at home came together (virtually) to jointly recorded a very special version of @MichaelRosenYes's poem "These are the Hands" which he wrote for the NHS on its 60th Birthday. #NHS72

THANK YOU everyone who took part in #ClapForTheNHS and #ClapForOurCarers tonight. This is just the tail end outside our hospital's A&E but a special #ThankYou to @MPSIslington for turning on their blue lights so that staff could see even if they couldn't hear ๐Ÿ’™
