- This is a scratch n’ sniff photo. It’s probably been a while since you’ve gotten one.
- Just gonna take a break and have some lunch right here on this 30” wide black walnut.
- Handful of old timers around here buy unwanted barns just to mill the American Chestnut beams into flooring.
Spread of the American Chestnut Blight - Plenty of noise on the frequencies. Stay focused on the home front and keep the larder stocked.
- The dried bulk food store operated by the Mennonites in a remodeled barn is a beacon of wealth and health in our community. Overall we have more farmer’s markets and farms selling direct to consumers than vape shops and weed dispensaries so we’re holding our own on that metric.
- Good Saturday morning. Somebody threw lead down range in the 1880’s and I cut right through it in the 2020’s. I suppose that’s one way to connect with the past.

- While some were busy hyperventilating about WWIII…I was busy milling for a local farmer. I hope that was okay.
