- Just had a close range encounter with a tall, beautiful, tornado near McCook Nebraska
- Myriad of phone clips from the Andover, #Kansas tornado today starting around 8:15. Really hated seeing such a strong tornado go through a populated area. Clips are in chronological order. #Tornado #WXtwitter
00:00 - In hindsight, I should have stopped, setup my tripod right here, and droned this tornado, but I was feeling the rush to get close and had the *wrong* notion that it was moving NE (more due E) so I kept driving. Woulda/coulda/shoulda, but this pic is pretty cool anyway.
00:00- 24 years ago today the most gut wrenching live footage ever broadcast was shot as THE strongest tornado in recorded history struck the heart of Moore, OK. @MikeMorganKFOR gave some of the best live coverage of all time that night, and helped save countless lives.
00:00 - The road in-out of Port Fourchon and Grand Isle, LA is completely washed out or buckled in many places. The sheriff tells me that this entire 22 mile stretch of Hwy1 from Golden Meadow to the Port is a patchwork of scenes like this. Levees show the signs of a monster surge. #Ida
