A group of 19 adult males apprehended early Friday morning near Champlain, NY following their illegal entry into the U.S. A sight all too familiar to Swanton Sector Agents. For the past month Agents in Swanton Sector have been apprehending around 100 people a day.@USBPChief @CBP

On July 4th, an SUV illegally entered Derby Line, VT from Canada by driving over private property & nearly collided with another car. Vigilant #USBP Agents intercepted the SUV on I-91. The 7 occupants were citizens of France, Canada & Romania. All 7 were expelled to Canada. @CBP

The nose knows! Canine “Kora” recently aided #BorderPatrol Agents with the apprehension of five subjects from Mexico hiding in the brush near the U.S./Canada border in Troy, VT. One of the five had previously been removed from the U.S. twice in 2016. Good dog! #BorderSecurity

Border Patrol Agents responded to a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) report of 3 subjects walking towards Highgate, VT. Agents located and apprehended 3 Mexican nationals attempting to avoid detection. Thank you RCMP for assisting to protect the Northen Border!
