FL a terrible place to live right now, especially being a teacher. My nephew does not feel safe to visit after a travel advisory was issued this month. 🥲 We need changed. Vote him out!

It’s no hoax! Schools have instructed teachers, based on the fact that they can be arrested, to remove books until they are approved. I guess you weren’t expecting any backlash from taking books out of the classroom.

Great article! As a teacher in Florida, I am horrified by DeSantis and what he is doing to education. History needs to be taught truthfully like you stated. Many parts of American History are ugly. Students realize it when we they certain things but it becomes a teachable moment.
