- I can imagine no other president in my lifetime failing to address the nation in a prime time speech during a crisis such as this. On the other hand, I cannot imagine another president whose words would be less welcome by so many of his fellow citizens.
- The audio of Trump with the Georgia secretary of state. Wow. It’s like telling the Nixon tapes to “hold my beer.”
- Watching President Obama’s graduation address tonight I think I finally understand Obamagate. It’s the scandal of having a president being able to speak with empathy, humor, insight, inspiration and in complete and coherent sentences.
- Why is the Trump White House suddenly a very polite place to work? Everyone’s going around saying “pardon me.”
- The Trump re-election strategy seems to be to argue that only Donald Trump can save America from Donald Trump’s America.
- A reminder: It’s illegal to vote twice. But not to impeach twice.
- Just a thought: Which should be considered more “marginal” - believing in Santa at age 7 or not believing in climate change at age 72?

- Perhaps Donald Trump doesn’t like the Postal Service because it delivers.
- I heard this Twitter thing wasn’t working for some people. Just came here to check... and it seems to be working for me. Oh well.
- Waiting in line for hours to vote should be considered less a story on voter enthusiasm and more a story on voter suppression. No one should have to wait hours to vote.
- I’m getting pretty tired of these news cycles where we have endless dances over whether the President meant what he said. Don’t his actions speak loudly enough?
