Everyone having an opinion on the #AshwinWillemse issue without knowing what happened. This story has a long build up. Stop making Willemse a hero or a villain. Stop labelling Mallett and Naas as racist or innocent. An opinion without knowledge is dangerous.

Aphiwe Dyantyi today said something that'll stick with me: "I learnt never to glorify my struggles, because everyone has struggles in life." Could've easily given a list of all he had to overcome. Chose not to. Chose to find a way to the top. May he stay there, where he belongs.

It's no coincidence that SA U19 star Dewald Brevis' style resembles that of AB de Villiers. "I know Dewald well, I've been his mentor for 2 years," says De Villiers. They've had many net sessions together. AB has been to the Brevis house, which has a cricket net in the backyard.

When Temba Bavuma injured his hamstring at the World Cup, it was impossible to get any information from the team about the severity of the injury. We couldn't even find out if he went for a scan. It was like a state secret. And now here we are again. Nobody communicates to fans.

Eben Etzebeth racked up the most playing minutes by any Bok this year. That's because he asked to play in the Bloem test, so that he could reach his 100th in CT. The reason is that it's difficult for his dad, Harry, to travel. He wanted to achieve the milestone with him there.

Keegan Petersen had a tough night before the 4th day of the 3rd Test. He went to bed at 23:00, woke up full of anxiety at 02:00. He thought of everything that could go wrong, all that could go right. Only fell asleep at 05:00. A few hours later, he achieved a childhood dream.
