    Today was a very hard day. To watch my Republican colleagues vote for @FLSurgeonGen despite knowing he purposefully defrauded the public by withholding contradictory data was really depressing and scary for FL. There is zero point to senate confirmation process. Why bother??

    It’s not their child’s health that’s at issue. It’s the other children to whom they are transmitting. What about the other students’ rights and their parents’ rights to stay healthy? Why don’t you all understand this? It’s the community that we need to care about not self.

    Students should not be bullied because their parents exercised their rights to make decisions about their child’s education and health. Thankful the Board of Education made it clear that such harassment would make a child eligible for a Hope Scholarship. flgov.com/2021/08/06/flo…

    I don’t know what to say to my constituents except I’m sorry. There is so much @GovRonDeSantis could be doing to help but instead he (and his agency followers) are handcuffing those who are trying to help. My heart breaks for those with children under 12 who start school Tuesday.
