    We have an unexpected categorical PGY-2 opening @BUOrtho to start June or July of 2024. This is the 6 year spot with one year of research. The research year takes place after the PGY-2 year. We are looking for someone currently finishing up their prelim general surgery at an US

    My dog just had bilateral ACL tears and s/p TPLOs. The Vet Surgeon fee was ~$4k per knee ($8k out of pocket). I get reimbursed ~$600 to 700 dollars per Medicaid ACL surgery. I have to do ~13 human Medicaid ACLs (~7 BCBS ACLs) to pay for my dog's surgery...😀

    Socioeconomic status is important not only in terms of orthopaedic patient outcomes, but for all areas of medicine. We need risk adjusted reimbursement based on SES factors to prevent patient exclusion and delay in care. @The_BMC @SurgicalEquity @aoa1887 @AAOSmembers @BUSPH

    @AdamMyerson Great seeing you in clinic. 3 months out from min displaced Coracoid base fracture and doing great! Back to racing 6 weeks after injury. Sometimes no surgery is the best treatment. Good luck with your quest for National Champ >50 div in Dec. @UCI_CX @cyclocross
