    Once I had that constant stream of hate interrupted, my critical thinking skills started to revive. It's important for the right wing media to keep their listeners angry, because you won't stop to think if you're enraged. It's insanely effective at twisting good, kind folk.

    This was Elijah McClain. He wore masks due to his anemia and Colorado weather. Someone called 911 on him and the police held him down, beat him, and injected him with ketamine. He went into cardiac arrest and died. Elijah liked to play his violin for stray cats to calm them.

    This is the body camera footage of Elijah's arrest. At 1:10:00 you can see him being injected with the ketamine. He was not struggling, he was not a threat, and he was terrified.

    Because people get exhausted and hopeless. It takes only an instant to create injustice, but it can take years to correct it. And by the time you've fought for the one, hundreds more have died and the grief and frustration become overwhelming.

    I don't relish his death. I believe this is what it takes for whites to believe. Breonna Taylor had a blank police report and her killers are still getting paid. George Floyd had a video and the whole world erupted. That's how things change, when you can't deny what your eyes see
