- This is terrible advice I’m in my early 30s The gap between my friends who ‘cracked jokes with chefs’ and those of us with ‘desk jobs’ is now entrenched and likely insurmountableUnless it is something you absolutely *love* desk jobs are overrated for people in their 20s. Would much prefer to be on my feet waiting tables, cracking jokes with chefs, and making coffees than sitting hunched over a desk formatting word docs

Americans are so far ahead —because they don’t have a shame-based culture. - Once met a guy who directly out of university invented a machine which slightly increased efficiency in the manufacture of toilet paper. Sold it for $12m USD and instantly retired to Argentina to breed bulls and grow weed. Worked about 12 weeks in his whole life.
