They’re promoting this moment as if it looks good for them. Deranged.

I'm sorry but the world's wealthiest individual leveraging their wealth for political influence and power cannot claim victimhood when the inevitable backlash engulfs his business interests. The narcissistic entitlement here is off the charts.

When the Ukraine war broke out, I began researching journalists who were experts on Putin because I wanted to commission some of them to write for me. I was shocked to discover how many of them were dead.

A high school teacher was decapitated for blasphemy in France—the most secular of nations—and the @nytimes frames it like this

Elon Musk’s tragic cognitive decline is a lesson for all high performing people: drugs are no substitute for exercise when keeping your mind & brain healthy in your 40s, 50s & beyond.

RFK Jr grew up as an untouchable rich kid who introduced his younger siblings to hard drugs & avoided consequences for being a degenerate because of his name. Reminder that his younger brother, David, fatally overdosed at the age of 28, while his first wife killed herself.

My X feed right now is just a cascade of leaders from Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, France, Poland--even the US--expressing support for Zelensky as if Ukraine were just hit w/ a terrorist attack. Have never seen such an outpour in my life. All provoked by disgust for 2 men.

Sabotaging Ukraine’s efforts to defend itself *with its own weapons* by switching off signals intelligence is so incredibly depraved it beggars belief. If political partisanship means you can’t see that—there is something wrong with you.

Completely anecdotal (N=1) but when my son was 6-7, his female teachers found him to be a handful & encouraged medical interventions. I resisted, & then observed that when he had male teachers they thought he was completely normal...

Approaching the situation with curiosity and compassion rather than judgement and assumptions may yield more interesting answers. Why are so many parents of boys seeking support? What are they hoping to receive? When is the therapy considered complete?

COVID-19 is a gendered crisis. Nurses, nurse aides, teachers, child carers and early-childhood educators, aged-care workers and cleaners are mostly women. They are on the frontline of this public health crisis and carry a disproportionate risk of being exposed to the virus.
