Great news that new legislation for brothers and sisters comes into force TODAY! Children told the Care Review these relationships must be supported & cherished. Well done to #standupforsiblings and others for their tireless campaigning. This is a good day for #KeepThePromise!
Good morning! On a day where a lot will be said, we’re starting with the most important: THANK YOU. To everyone who shared their story. To everyone who supported and championed change. To those about to act.

Today @JohnSwinney announced £4 million investment into the ‘Promise Fund’, which will support children and families who most need it, to help them stay together. It is a welcome and vital first step in beginning to #KeepThePromise made to Scotland's children and families.
And it passes! A unanimous decision from @ScotParl and a huge cheer from the children & young people (& adults) in the gallery watching. The United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the Child Bill passes & rights will be incorporated into Scots Law #CRCScotland#KeepThePromise
