First Minister @JohnSwinney has backed Scotland fan Craig Ferguson’s 'Tartan Trek' for Scottish Action on Mental Health with a £400,000 boost from @scotgov.
Craig is walking across the US to raise funds for the charity ahead of the World Cup.

I met Craig before he headed out to the US to begin his trek and I was struck by his tenacity and determination.
To mark his achievement, the @scotgov is donating £400,000 to SAMH to fund their vital mental health work, including drop-in The Nook centres.

First Minister @JohnSwinney has confirmed up to £1million will be provided to @ClacksCouncil to support residents in Coalsnaughton.
The money will ensure the local authority can cover temporary housing, welfare and staffing costs.

Residents in Coalsnaughton are facing considerable stress due to the ground movement issues and I was grateful to hear from them directly last week.
As investigations continue, we will provide up to £1million to Clackmannanshire Council to support residents during this time.
